Srinagar, Jan 01 (KNS): Days after the Kashmir News Service (KNS) carried a news report titled ‘In 21st century, Khiram Kasnard villagers walk 3 kilometers to fetch water to quench thirsty’, the concerned officials from Public Health Engineering (PHE) on Tuesday sent a team of officers to the village to ensure drinking water supply to the village.
According to KNS correspondent, on the directions of Chief Engineer PHE, Abdul Wahid, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) PHE Bijbehara division Ghulam Hassan Ganai and Junior Engineer (JE) Sadiq Khan visited the village regarding the issue.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The officers have also submitted a Detailed Project Report (DPR) to ensure water supply to over 100 households in the village. (KNS)
