Srinagar, Sep 10 (KNS): Cold blooded murder of 77 unarmed people during last more than two months and injuring of over 12000 has deeply hurt the Kashmiri nation resulting in grief and sorrow in the disputed region.
In a statement issued to KNS, Nayeem appealed people to pray for the speedy recovery of injured in congregational Eid prayers.
He has also appealed people to pray for the martyrs and their families who have lost their kith and kin at the hands of Indian repression and tyranny. He said that families whose nears and dears have been put behind bars and sent to far off jails also deserve our attention.
Khan again reiterated that Kashmir dispute cannot be resolved by killing unarmed people, maiming peaceful protesters and putting thousands in Jails.
He said that New Delhi must shun its illogical stance on Kashmir and accept that it is a long lasting political dispute which can only be resolved by political majors.
Khan said that New Delhi must come forward with historical confessions about Kashmir dispute to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region.
Expressing deep concern over the highhandedness of the men in uniform in nook and corner of the valley, Khan paid glowing tributes to Abdul Qayoom of Aali Kadal, Srinagar, Sayar Ahmad Sheikh of Shopian and Yawar Ahmad Dar of Botengoo Islamabad who were martyred today.
He said that unabated killings at the hands of police and Indian forces has bruised the conscience of every conscious soul and the local agents of New Delhi are alone in praising their master to prolong their political power.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Strongly condemning the maiming of thousands of unarmed protesters he said that men in uniform have been given clear instructions to use blind force to silent the peace loving Kashmiris and crush their democratic movement.
Khan said that people of Kashmir have exhibited utmost discipline during last more than two months of mass uprising and they want a permanent resolution to the Kashmir dispute so that the people of India, Pakistan and Kashmir can live peaceful and dignified life.
However, peaceful Kashmiris are being reciprocated with bullets, pellets, PAVA and like weapons resulting in their deaths and injuries.
Khan said that New Delhi and its local agents are busy in committing every sort of atrocities and damaging private properties of peace loving Kashmiris.
Nayeem Ahmad Khan praised the steadfastness of the people who organise peaceful rallies but face force at the hands of the men in uniform.
He strongly condemned the use of force against unarmed protesters and said that protesting peacefully is among the basic human rights however New Delhi and its local collaborators are hell bent to crush the unarmed Kashmiris to prolong their political power. (KNS)
