Srinagar, June 16 (KNS): Ishfaq Kawa, famous Kashmiri Singer on Thursday visited The Afsara Homestay to shoot short reels for his upcoming song.
According to a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Afsara Homestay hosted the famous singer who came along with his friends to Gurez valley.
The statement reads that guests who are on a leisure trip to Kashmir, were welcomed by the Homestay owner, Hasmat Lone who arranged for a welcome drink for the guests.
Ishfaq Kawa praised the new venture of Homestay in the lap of nature in Kanzalwan, which stays unexplored till date.
The singer shot a video recommending the Homestay to his fans. Noticeably, Ishfaq Kawa has more than 400k subscribers on YouTube.
The Afsara Homestay facility is the first of its kind in Kanzalwan, which has already started welcoming guests to explore the untapped marvels of nature treasured in this remote locality.
So far the tourists had used this village only as a transit point for their journey towards Dawar and Niru. With this initiative the locals will have another source of income and improve the economic activity in this area. (KNS)
