Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation Kashmir while castigating the government over what it termed the inordinate delay in proving the assistance of any sort to the flood hit traders have decided to hold a sit in outside Raj Bhavan here on September 7, this year.
KTMF stared further that the step motherly treatment is being given to the traders of Kashmir valley by the government and that no effort has so far been made by the government here to mitigate the sufferings of those who lost their livelihood during the ravaging floods of September 7, 2014. “Even after one year, the government is unmoved towards the sufferings of the trades who have lost their everything during the last year floods. The chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is proving himself as a mere ineffective chief minister- unable to take any measure that would mitigate the sufferings of Kashmir’s business community,” Advocate Haji Mushatq Ahamd Sagar told KNS, that the peaceful protest and sit outside the governor house is symbolic and an attempt to make the authorities remember the promises which they made to the people of the state.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Sagar maintained further that when the natural calamity struck the Ladakh region of the state, the government at that time issued more than 2 lakh rupees each to the business community there but in Kashmir valley, it looks like the government has resolved to crush the traders at large. (KNS)
