Srinagar, Apr 03 (KNS): Shutdown called by the joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik in response to last Sunday’s militant and civilian killings in South Kashmir parts hit the normal life for the second consecutive day Tuesday.

Curbs were imposed in the interiors of Srinagar city and uptown areas by law enforcing authorities to thwart any attempts of people taking out any protest demonstrations.
Huge contingents of government forces are enforcing restrictions in almost of all parts of old Srinagar city. However, vital road link leading to SKIMS Soura hospital was kept open. (KNS)
