SRINAGAR, Mar 13 (KNS) : The President of the All Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association (AJKSA), Molvi Imran Ansari, on Thursday extended greetings to the Muslim community on the occasion of Jummatul Vida, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, while issuing a significant appeal regarding the annual Youm-e-Quds demonstrations.
In his message, Ansari emphasized the day’s spiritual significance as a moment for reflection, prayer, and seeking forgiveness. He urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to pray for unity, peace, and justice across the Muslim Ummah globally.
In a key appeal directed at protesters, Ansari called upon the youth to observe Youm-e-Quds—marked internationally in solidarity with the Palestinian people—in a "peaceful, disciplined, and dignified manner." He invoked the teachings of Shaheed Ayatullah Khamenei (RA), stressing that public expressions of solidarity must be conducted with "discipline, responsibility, and moral conduct."
Striking a note of administrative coordination, the AJKSA President specifically requested that people, particularly the youth, organize programs and protests in their respective areas "in coordination with the district administration and district police" to ensure the observances remain orderly and within the legal framework.

Referencing recent developments in the region, Ansari cited the first public message delivered by Ayatullah Mujtaba Khamenei, which called for unity within the Muslim Ummah and urged believers to remain steadfast and disciplined during hardships.
The religious leader further reminded believers to strengthen their spiritual connection with Imam-e-Zamana (AJTF), whose awaited leadership he described as the symbol of the ultimate triumph of justice over oppression. His message concluded with prayers for the oppressed people of Palestine and Lebanon, acknowledging the sacrifices of martyrs in Iran and the wider region.
“May Allah accept our prayers and fasting in this holy month, grant relief to the oppressed, bring justice to Palestine, stability to the Middle East, and unity to the Muslim Ummah,” Ansari stated in his formal message. (KNS)
