Srinagar, Nov 20 (KNS): Anjuman Ulma-e-Ahnaf on Sunday said that they have decided not to attend the conference 'Kashmir Back to Paradise' by Art of Living (AOL) to promote peace and usher in an era of peaceful and prosperous Kashmir.
Notably, the conference is scheduled to be held on November 23rd at state’s winter capital, Jammu.
Meanwhile, the spokesman of Anjuman Ulma-e-Ahnaf told KNS that they were invited to participate in the conference. “However, we have decided not to attend the conference as the conference is meaningless,” he said.
He said that such kind of conferences will be a futile exercise. “We will not attend any meaningless conferences,” he said.
Pertinently, AOL had said that former militants and victims of militancy will take part in a conference 'Kashmir Back to Paradise' by Art of Living (AOL) to promote peace and usher in an era of peaceful and prosperous Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The Spiritual guru and Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju will also take part in the conference. (KNS)
