Sunderbani July 28 (KNS) : On way to Rajouri ' Poonch , JKPCC President Tariq Hameed Karra monday interacted with Congress workers at Sunderbani, and asked them to fight for the restoration of statehood without which , the present dual control system under UT is a deception with the people.

After announcing a fresh schedule of agitation for the restoration of statehood in a press conference in Jammu today, Karra left for three days visit of twin borderDistricts of Rajouri - Poonch, to mobilize public support for the movement " Hamari Riyasat Hamara Haq " and met the workers led by former MLC &JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Mr Ravinder Sharma here in the afternoon .

He asked them to educate the massed about the drawbacks and hollowness of the dual control system, which is powerless system and the elected government can't come upto their expectations of mitigating their sufferings of last 11 years.

Congress is on the forefront of this fight to restore the democratic rights identity status and powers to all people of J&K and urged all sections to come forward to join the struggle. Later JKPCC Chief visited the Ashram of Atal Pethadeeshwar Raj Guru Mahamandleshwar Swami Vishwatmanand Sarswati ji at Sunderbani and met Swami ji to appreciate his efforts for the socio- religious and educational upliftment of the youth of the region and to keep them away from addictions.His philosophy & efforts to keep peace and harmony & brotherhood amongst followers of different faiths is highly appreciable,Karra told Swami ji urging him to keep his blessings upon all and continue his positive efforts.
Ravinder Sharma,BLock Presidents BC Sharma Ajit Singh, Tirth Ram, Yog Raj, Dr Ved Parkash, Chuni Lal Pushkar, AshwaniSharma, Raj Kumar Raina, Deep Solan, Om Parkash,Thoru Ram, Arvind Sudan& large number of local congress leaders and workers accompanied Mr Karra . Later he left for Rajouri, where he is scheduled to meet large number of people including congress workers and others before leaving for Poonch to attend a youth Congress function and the holy Shri Budda Amarnath Yatra.(KNS)
