Karnah, May 7 (KNS): Police booked a Corona positive person for violating COVID-19 guidelines and SOP's in the border town of Karnah north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

A Police official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) a Covid-19 positive patient of Tanghdar area was found roaming in a public place despite being advised of home quarantine, putting the lives of people at stake, taking strict action against those flouting coronavirus norms in light, police booked the said person for violating the guidelines and SOPs.
An FIR No 36/2021 under section 269 IPC 51 disaster management act has been registered against him in Police station Karnah.
Meanwhile, Karnah Police has appealed the people of Karnah to follow the guidelines and SOPs to prevent themselves from this deadly virus.(KNS)
