Srinagar, Oct 01 (KNS): Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education, Youth Services and Sports, Imran Raza Ansari who is also the President of all Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association today paid honor and respect while commemorating the tragic event of Karbala, said that the day of Ashura teaches us that truth always prevails over evil.
On the 10th day of Muharram, the Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association organized its main event at Alipora Botta Kadal Srinagar, here with religious fervor. In which thousands of devotees participated to mourn the Martyrs of Karbala.
While leading a congregation, the Minister laid emphasis on the true meaning of the sacred day, the minister in his speech said that this day is having a great importance in the history of mankind, teaches us willing self-sacrifice, steadfastness in the right, righteous way of life and unflinching war against the wrong.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Earlier, Molvi Sahab lead the procession which was carried out from Alipora Botta Kadal Lalbazar, which culminated at historic Imambara Zadibal, in which thousands participated in which men women and children paid their tribute to martyrs of Karbala.
Later, Aga Syed Kazim Sabreen lead the prayer at Girls high school Zadibal in thousands of devotes participated. (KNS)
