Srinagar, Sep 20(KNS): Former PDP leader Tariq Hameed Kara here on Tuesday cited technical reasons caused in forwarding his resignation letter to Speaker Lok Sabha and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti.
Talking to KNS Kara said “format required for quitting as parliament member under section 26 could not be downloaded due to internet breakdown and Saturday and Sunday being non working days in the parliament is yet another reason for my inability to forward the resignation letter to Speaker Lok Sabha”.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Saying that he has announced his quitting from the primarily membership of the Peoples’ Democratic Party in a press conference under broad day light Kara said “ forwarding formal resignation to PDP President is a trivial formal and when my resignation has been published in newspapers and telecasted on news channels world over there is no scope for my resignation. I have resigned from the party and my decision is final and irrevocable”. (KNS)
