Srinagar, Jan 07 (KNS): State Organizing Secretary Kadfeen Choudary on Sunday hailed the Congress party over according second term to G.A. Mir as JKPCC chief, terming the decision visionary and much needed.
In a statement issued to press, Kadfeen said that the Congress party in the state under the leadership of G.A. Mir is witnessing new heights and has gained much ground. "Mir sahib is the leader of masses. He expressed gratitude to Rahul Gandhi for this decision and said that it will act as an encouragement for all the Party men in the State. "The fact is that Mir has worked tirelessly to invigorate the Party from grass roots level, besides remaining committed to highlight the issues concerning people for their resolution", he said.
Kadfeen expressed hope that under the leadership of G.A. Mir, Congress would be able to defeat the communal elements and protect the secular fabric of the state with earnest efforts. (KNS)
