Srinagar, Jun 10 (KNS): Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) president and former minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir on Monday welcomed the verdict of the special court at Pathankot to convict six of the seven accused in the heinous Rassana rape and murder case.
Mir in a statement issued to KNS said that despite hue and cry raised over the issue, justice prevailed in the case.

He added that this festival is a shining example of communal harmony and brotherhood, which have been the hallmarks of the glorious pluralistic ethos of Jammu and Kashmir in the centuries past.
He also prayed for peace, harmony, progress and prosperity in the State. (KNS)
