Srinagar, Feb 09 (KNS): Justice Hasnain Masoodi, Chairperson Selection Cum Oversight Committee (SCOC) inspected Special Home Samba today. He was accompanied by State Mission Director ICPS, G A Sofi and Chairperson CWC Samba Mubarak Singh.
Special Home is a reformative care facility for housing children upto 3 years.
While reviewing the progress of work at Special Home Samba, Justice Masoodi emphasized the need of all the structures under ICPS which will cater the population of vulnerable children in the District Samba.

Earlier, he presided over the one day consultative meeting of all the stakeholders of District Samba at Conference Hall Samba.
He applauded the work done by the ICPS Samba under the leadership of Mubarak Singh. He also appreciated the cooperation extended by the Special Juvenile Police Unit Samba.
He stressed on continued convergence of all the stakeholders for best interest of the children and emphasized on the participants to appreciate their role as envisaged under the Juvenile Justice Act, 2013. He further stressed on right based approach while dealing with the children. (KNS)
