Kunzer, Feb 23 (KNS): A joint market inspection was conducted today in Tehsil Kunzer under the supervision of the Naib Tehsildar Kunzer, in coordination with the Municipal Committee Kunzer, Police Station Kunzer, and the Food & Civil Supplies Department.
During the inspection, several market establishments were checked to ensure strict compliance with government regulations, including the display of rate lists, adherence to hygiene standards, and maintenance of quality control measures. The inspecting team thoroughly examined essential commodities and other goods to prevent overpricing and the sale of substandard items.

Shopkeepers were directed to strictly follow the prescribed norms and maintain proper cleanliness in and around their establishments. They were also warned against hoarding and overcharging consumers.
The authorities reiterated that such inspections will continue in the future to safeguard consumer interests and maintain transparency in the market. They further cautioned that strict action will be taken against violators under the relevant provisions of law. (KNS)
