Srinagar, June 20 (KNS): Joint Director Elementary Education at Directorate of School Education Kashmir Shams-ud-Din Ahmad died of cardiac arrest on Tuesday.
"Shams-ud-Din Ahmad was on duty when he fell unconscious in the lawns of Directorate office following which he was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, however he lost his breathe on way," officials told the Kashmir News Service (KNS).
Meanwhile, Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar has expressed his deep grief on the sad demise of Joint Director Elementary Education at Directorate of School.
In his condolence, Advisor Bhatnagar said that the officer was very diligent and performed his duties extraordinarily. He added that officer had deep vision and expertise and was very instrumental in driving positive changes in the education system.
The Advisor also expressed his deep sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of departed soul.(KNS)
