Srinagar, Jan 24 (KNS): A delegate session of JKTF under the president ship of Gh Rasool Bhat Vice Chairman was held at Srinagar Sunday in which central provincial district and Zonal cadre leaders participated.
Visibly looking agitated leaders expressed their dismay over the failure of the Department of Education to address the genuine issues of teaching community on the one hand and creating chaos and confusion on the other hand.
Participants anonymously passed a resolution with one voice in support of senior trade union leader president EJAC and chairman JKTF Abdul Qayoom Wani’s protest call on 30Th January.
In the meeting speakers expressed concerned over the issues like screening test of ReTs with distance mode certificates ban on tuition, regularization of ReTs with Five years’ service and release of Time Bond in their favour, delay in proposed move of handing over of department to KAS officers, handing over of the department to outside state, pay anomaly of Masters, Delay in salary of SSA, NPS, RMSA, SBM and delay in the regularization of KGBVs, SBM volunteers, Gender Coordinators and contractual employees of SSA and RMSA.
Implementation of Minimum wages act in favour of Contingent paid employees, Regularization of in charge officers, pay anomalies of clerical and Master Grade teachers, Reorganization of Education Department with the creation of clerical posts as per the departmental strength. Earned leave benefit to teachers by putting the at par with other employees.
Speakers in the meeting decided that nobody will be allowed to put teachers in general ReT in particular in mental trauma in the name of so called screening test and organization will fight tooth and nail to the arbitrary orders issued form Directorate form last six months including examination drama, induction of KAS Officers as Joint Directors, Ban on Tuition by putting 13 Lakh students in mental distress by stopping options for their study.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The other issues mentioned above were also highlighted and the government was asked to redress the difficulties and the problems faced by the teaching community to streamline the system and the higher ups of the education department were asked to stop conspiracies to hide their failure already exposed in last one year.
In the meeting speakers in one voice condemned the un-parliamentary language and so called circular against trade union moment and his childish activities and warned him to desist from maligning the teachers image and reputation and asked him to honour the chair of Director School Education on which luminary and educationist like Gh Syed Din, Aga Ashraf Ali, Mumtaz Niza Saz, Muzaffer Azam, Mohd Rafi, G A Peer, G M Malik, Masood Sammon, Mohammad Shafi Rather, Showkwet Ali Beigh, Tariq Ali Mir, Shugafta Parveen, Khurshhed Ahmad Reshi and others.
The provincial president Mohammad Afzal Bhat appealed the employees of the education department in general, teaching community in particular to make 30th January protest day a day of success, unity and victory for the honours of teaching fertility.
All the District Presidents, Zonal Presidents, office Barres are requested to enmass participation of teachers in the protest program at Sher-e-Kashmir Park at 11:00 AM Sharp.
