JKSSB’s Accounts Assistant Finance Exam concludes successfully across Kashmir

SRINAGAR, MARCH 06:(KNS)  The OMR based Objective type written test for Accounts Assistant Finance conducted by Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board’s (JKSSB) concluded successfully across Kashmir.

On the occasion, the respective Deputy Commissioners of all the districts of Kashmir visited various examination centres within their jurisdiction to take stock of facilities and arrangements put in place for smooth and transparent conduct of written examinations.

At Baramulla, the Deputy Commissioner, Bhupinder Kumar inspected various examination centres including Baramulla, Chandoosa, Wagoora and Pattan in order to take stock of facilities and arrangements being put in place for smooth and transparent conduct of written examinations of Accounts Assistant (Finance).

The exam was held at 36 examination centres established across the district and as many as 16580 aspirants were scheduled to appear for the examination in the district.

Control rooms for every designated centre had been established for the ease of the aspirants besides CCTV cameras and biometric had also been ensured in all the Centres for the smooth and fair conduct of the examination.

On the occasion, the DC was informed that all the SOPs with regard to Covid 19 were strictly adhered to, besides masks & sanitizers were made available for the aspirants in all the examination centres.

The DC also interacted with the aspirants and enquired from them about the facilities and arrangements made by the district administration and the aspirants showed satisfaction and thanked district administration over the arrangements made for the convenience of the aspirants.

At Pulwama, the Deputy Commissioner Baseer Ul Haq Choudhary along with SSP Pulwama Ghulam Jeelani visited the examination centres set up in the district to take stock of facilities and arrangements put in place for smooth and transparent conduct of written examinations.

The written examination for Accounts Assistant Finance concluded smoothly at all 59 designated centers across the district. It was given out that 10833 candidates were scheduled to appear in the exam and barring some absentees all the candidates ensured their appearance well in time at all centers.

The DC hailed the efforts of Nodal officers and all others concerned in ensuring that examinations are conducted successfully across the district.

Choudhary on the occasion enquired about the facilities made available for the students like seating, cleanliness, drinking water, lighting and inspected the arrangements regarding COVID-19 like availability of hand sanitizers, masks and maintenance of social distance in examination halls.

Meanwhile, Magistrates and videographers were deployed at all the examination centers besides district police had also put in place all necessary security arrangements for smooth conduct of examination.

At Shopian, the Accounts Assistant ( Finance) examination was conducted Successfully at all 22 centers of the district with as many as 3595 candidates appearing in the said examination.

The Deputy Commissioner, Sachin Kumar Vaishya who is also Micro Observer for Accounts Assistant Examination along with Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, Shopian, Shahbaz Ahmed, Bodha and other officers visited various examination centres to  monitor the examination process.

Vaishya visited Government Degree College, Shopian, Government HSS, Shopian, GHSS, Turkwangam, New Greenland Education Institute, Shopian, HS, Nowgam, Mohamadia Institute, Shopian, Para World Education Pvt. Coaching Centre, Gagron, Kids Career Days Boarding School Kaprin and HSS, Kaprin.

22 Observers, 22 Magistrates and 05 Flying Squads, Supervisors and other staff were deployed at the examination centres for the smooth and fair conduction of the said examination.

Meanwhile, the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mushtaq Ahmed Simnani (General Observer) for Accounts Assistant Examination also visited various Government and Private Educational institutions of the district to ensure smooth conduct of examination process.

At Kupwara, the Deputy Commissioner, Imam Din today visited various examination centres of the district where OMR objective type test of Accounts Assistant (Finance) was held. 

The  DC visited examination centre GDC ,Women's,  Kupwara; GHHS, Kupwara; KPS ,Kupwara; GHSS, Kupwara, JNV, Potushi; GDC, Sogam, GHSS, Sogam and GHSS, Khumriyal and expressed satisfaction over the fool-proof arrangement put in place by the administration to conduct the examination in a free , fair and transparent manner.

He was informed that JKSSB has established 41 examination Centres in Kupwara,  Handwara, Lolab,  Langate,  Kralpora and other areas  of the district to facilitate the aspirants of the examination. 

DC said that apart from the best arrangements made for the conduct of examination, Observers, Magistrates and special flying squads were deployed to monitor the fairness of the examination.

At Kulgam, Examination for the post of Accounts Assistant Finance concluded smoothly across the district Kulgam at 25 designated examination centres.

The Deputy Commissioner, Dr.Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat accompanied by ACR, ADC and other officers on the occasion visited several examination centres to take stock of arrangements put in place for smooth and fair conduct of written exam.

Dr Bilal enquired from the aspirants about the availability of facilities to which they expressed great satisfaction.

At Bandipora, the Deputy Commissioner, Dr Owais Ahmad  on Sunday visited several examination centres established in Bandipora district for conduct of OMR based Objective type written examination for Accounts Assistant being conducted by JK Services Selection Board.

Dr Owais visited Mehboob-ul-Aalam College, Higher Secondary School Nadihal, NM Higher Secondary School Kaloosa and other centres established in the district.

He inspected the arrangements and implementation of SOPs set by the JKSSRB and also interacted with the staff and aspirants. He said all the arrangements were put in place to ensure smooth conduct of the examination.

The DC said the examination was successfully held in all the 24 centres of the district and about 5000 candidates appeared in the examination.(KNS)
