Srinagar, Dec 10 (KNS): On International Human Rights Day, JKSPF unit of Hurriyat (G) on Saturday held a program at Jammu in which all the members of the group and local people participated.
According to the statement issued to KNS, while addressing the gathering, Chairman JKSPF and Sikh Hurriyat Leader Advocate Devinder Singh strongly condemned extra judicial killings in voluntary disappearances, torture in detention centres, violation of chastity of women and other Human Rights violations.
Sikh leader said in last five months, at least 150 innocent people were killed while thousands were injured and 400 had lost their vision forever.
“We appeal Human Rights Organizations of the world to take strong notes in these matters, because this is a human concern issue,” he said.

Sikh Leader said that leaders of India and its Prime Minister Pt. Nehru take this issue to UN general council.
He said, “it is a relevant and human issue which is to be resolved as per the wishes of the people of the state and is a concern of 1.50 crores so we appealed both the nation sit together and start the dialogue process under UN resolution.”
Sikh leader appealed UN General Secretary to personally intervene and appoint an envoy to see the ground realties in Kashmir in recent scenario Jammu Kashmir is a human related and is still pending for the last 89 years and both the countries has faced three wars in which Kashmir have lost precious lives.
“To avoid further delay tactics start the negotiation to resolve the JK issue once for all because both the countries has nuclear weapons which causes distraction of both the nations,” he said. (KNS)
