Srinagar, July 28 (KNS): On the direction of Chairman APHC, Syed Ali Geelani a high level delegation of APHC today visited Tral and met people related to different walks of life.
The delegation was led by Hurriyat leader and Chairman JKSPF Devinder Singh Ji (Jammu) who was also accompanied by Hurriyat leaders Mohammad Sayed, Yasmeen Raja and Tehreek-e-Hurriyat district president Pulwama Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Andrabi where they organized a joint program of Sikhs and Muslims of the area.
According to a statement issued to KNS, while addressing the gathering, Devinder said that since last 20 days about 60 innocent youths have been killed by the Indian forces, about 4000 people have been injured and 250 youths have serious eye injuries.
Singh said that it is the duty of all the communities of the Jammu & Kashmir to come forward and condemn these barbarism and human rights violations in strongest words.
He also appealed the international community to help in resolving the long pending Kashmir dispute in and accordance to the wishes and aspirations of its people.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Singh also appealed the Sikh community of Kashmir to stand with their Muslim brethren at this crucial juncture.
On the occasion Tehreek-e-Hurriyat district president Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Andrabi also addressed the public and said that the communal harmony between Sikhs and Muslims is an age old tradition in Kashmir and we have to protect this tradition at any cost.
He also said that the government agencies are working hard to give our freedom movement a communal color but we will not allow them to succeed.
While addressing the gathering, Hurriyat leader Miss Yasmeen Raja said that we will not allow the sacrifices of our people to go waste and we have to be united in protecting these sacrifices.
Yasmeena Ji also appealed the world leaders to come forward and resolve the Kashmir issue.
Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leader Mohammad Sayed sahab also spoke at the occasion and said that the main focus of the people in the present situation should be how to resist the Indian occupational forces who are brutally killing our children. (KNS)
