Srinagar, Mar 25 (KNS): JKPM has set a record in the political history of the state in developing ‘participative politics’ by reaching to 35 villages in Kupwara in just two days after launching the grass-root “Public Reach-out” campaign on Sunday.
Jammu and Kashmir Peoples’ Movement (JKPM) under the leadership Dr. Shah Faesal has reached 21 villages in Kupwara and held public meetings today under its flagship campaign of “Public Reach-out”. “JKPM visited Sogam, Lasipora, Badibara, Vawoora, Gagal, Uper gagal, Maidan pora, Chipora, Kulgam, Siver, Mushakjal warno ,Aafan warnow, Kaninad warnow, Shahabad warnow, Anwarabad, Chaiwan, Krusan, Darpora, Lalpora, Gudmancher and Gungbugh and received various based delegations till late evening today”, JKPM spokesperson told KNS.
“The JKPM team was overwhelmed by the response from the people who are hoping that Dr. Shah Faesal will work for the common people, find a solution to the vexed Kashmir issue and give them an alternative from the traditional oppressive dynastic politics”, he added.
Pertinently, JKPM has launched its ‘Public Reach-out’ campaign on Sunday starting from the frontier district, Kupwara to understand the people’s grievances, demands and problems.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelIn its first public reach-out, JKPM team visited various villages and held interactions with the delegations from Bumhama, Dodawan, Nag Sarai, Mudmadu, Thyan, Huayhama, Hayhama B, MerNag, Kupwara town, Doniwari, Wowura, Chepora, Chaiwan and Mudanpora. In just two days, JKPM has reached 35 villages and addressed lakhs of people in the area.
JKPM team comprised of Dr. Shah Faisal, Chasfeda Shah, Shah Mubashir, Dr. Mustafa, Perzada Feroze, Zameer Ahmad Shah, Iqbal Rather, Feroz Wani, Arshid Nazir Paray, Ghulam Ahmad Shah, Nazer Ahmad Khan and Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Bhat.
“This "Reach-out" campaign is primarily focusing on bringing social awareness which is viewed as the precursor for the political revolution that JKPM has envisioned. Under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Shah Faesal JKPM will reach out to all the villages and remotest areas of the state to give them a say in determining their future, development and prosperity”, JKPM spokesperson told KNS.
