Srinagar, Jan 06 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir People's Movement leaders Mir Mudasir Rashid Cheif Organiser JKPM, Javid Ahmad Khan Adl. General Secretary JKPM and Imtiyaz Aalam Political Advisor to President JKPM today while protesting against delimitation commission report.

JKPM leaders said delimitation of Jammu and Kashmir should be fairly on population basis, there is no provisions in Constitution of India to do delimitation on geographical basis and BJP government in centre violating all norms of Indian Constitution for their vested interests, it is very unfortunate that J&K administration are suppressing the voices by imposing restrictions ahead of PAGD protest against delimitation and not allowing people to protest peacefully against the delimitation report recently issued in public domain.

JKPM leaders urged delimitation commission committee to wait up to year 2024 for delimitation of new parliamentary and Assembly constituencies in J&K as proposed by previous Congress government in Centre for delimitation of new constituencies across India. (KNS)
