Srinagar, July 14 (KNS): Stating that only two senior office bearers of the party Ghulam Mustafa and Mudassir Mir today joined Aam Aadmi Party, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement party on Thursday denies reports of merger with AAP. 

 
Party in a statement issued to Kashmir news service (KNS), said that It is herby denied that J&K Peoples Movement has merged with Aam Admi Party as has been claimed in media.
 
As per JKPM constitution, merger of the party needs the approval of 2/3rd members of the state executive committee, the highest decision-making body of the party," the party said, adding that the state executive committee has not approved any such merger. 
 
It futher said that the state executive committee has taken a strong note of the claim made by Messers Ghulam Mustafa, Mudassir Mir and AAP. Besides, the state executive expressed surprise how a person of the stature of Chief Minister was made to believe about the merger. 
 
The state executive committee including Mohd Ramzan, Chairperson, Syed Iqbal Tahir, Vice President, Mohd Hussain Paddar, Vice President, Prabhat Sharma, Vice President, Tejinder Singh Pappi, Provincial President, Rohit Sharma, Spokesperson, Besaat Khan, President Tribal Affairs, Shiekh Imtiyaz, Convenor, and Umar Rather, State Secretary has decided to initiate legal proceedings against AAP and approach Election Commission in this regard.(KNS).
