JKPM delegation visits Aang Village, demands establishment of Health Centre, adequate drinking water facility

Anantnag, Jan 16 (KNS): J&K Peoples Movement (JKPM) has demanded the establishment of a health centre in the Aang area of Anantnag.

A delegation of JKPM recently visited the village and interacted with the residents of the area.

Speaking to our reporter, JKPM Vice President Solicitor Syed Iqbal Tahir said that in the Aang village, people highlighted their problems to our team which include inadequate drinking water supply, poor sanitation and lack of waste disposal. They were also concerned about the lack of health centres in the area.  The villagers also complained about the absence of a proper drainage system in the area.

JKPM delegation assured the villagers that their grievances will be taken up with the district administration for redressal.

Solicitor Iqbal said that his party was committed to equitable development of all the areas of the state with the main priority to underdeveloped and hitherto neglected areas.

He said JKPM will ensure the development of those areas which have become victims of political vendetta and neglect. (KNS)
