JKPCC Holds Massive Workers’ Convention at Kupwara, Demands Restoration of Statehood

Kupwara, June 30 (KNS):  The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Monday organized a grand workers’ convention at Town Hall Kupwara under the slogan “Humari Riyasat Humara Haq”, intensifying the party’s demand for the restoration of full statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.

The convention was presided over by JKPCC President Sh. Tariq Hameed Karra, who said the people of J&K have been "robbed of their constitutional dignity" and reiterated the Congress Party’s strong commitment to democratic restoration in the region.

The convention saw massive participation from grassroots workers, signaling growing public discontent and political awakening.

The JKPCC also announced that similar conventions would be held across all districts in the coming weeks as part of its broader public outreach and mobilization strategy. (KNS)
