Srinagar Nov 27 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) General Secretary and Incharge Ganderbal District Mir Ruvais has felicitated people especially Sikh brethren on Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Jayanti.

In his message, Mir Ruvais termed Guru Nanak Dev Ji an apostle of peace and harmony saying that Guru Ji always taught to live in harmony, maintain unity and serve humanity irrespective of colour or shade.
 
He said Gurpurab symbolizes the victory of truth over falsehood, right over wrong. The teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji shall continue to inspire the generations leading them to the path of righteousness, peace and honesty, he added.
 
Congress General Secretary sincerely felicitated people especially Sikh brethren of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Jayanti, hoping that the day will be a harbinger of complete peace, prosperity and stability in J&K. He prayed for wellbeing of people.(KNS)
