Srinagar June 25:( KNS) The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Friday felicitated people on Prakash Purab and prayed for their wellbeing, peace and stability in J&K.

In a statement, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee President Ghulam Ahmad Mir has extended his sincere felicitations to people especially Sikh Brethren on Prakash Purab, describing the occasion as very pious and blessed.

Sri. Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji was an apostle of peace, who stood against discrimination, the teachings of Guru ji shall continue to lead the people at the path truthfulness and righteousness, besides inspiring the generations to adopt right path of peace and harmony, Mir said.

Let the auspicious occasion (Prakash Purab) usher in an era of inclusive development and prosperity of the people, JKPCC President added and hoped the occasion will be the harbinger of complete peace & stability in J&K.
