Srinagar, Oct 15 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) G A Mir Thursday met with Congress president Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi to discuss the present situation in the state.
A Congress spokesman said Mir called on Sonia Gandhi, Vice President Rahul Gandhi, and AICC General Secretary Ambika Soni.

The leaders stressed that Congress party should worked hard for safeguarding the age-old brotherhood, communal harmony in the state.
The leaders stated that Congress party has also stood for maintaining secular fabric of the state.
The central leadership urged upon Mir that measures should be taken to stop politics of exploitation launched by PDP-BJP regime in the state. (KNS)
