Srinagar  Nov 22 (KNS): Appealing people to throw their weight behind the Peoples’ Conference and help it to emerge politically formidable enough to meet the insurmountable challenges ahead Party Senior General Secretary Molvi Imran Reza Ansari has said that Peoples Conference is tirelessly working towards empowering the people by placing Jammu and Kashmir first, above all other fragmented identities in a difference of opinion, to achieve politics of inclusiveness and hope without favouritism and hopelessness. Molvi was speaking at a function here today at Darul Jawaad in which Showkat Ahmad Wani of Lalpora Beerwah,  Ex DDC candidate and Ex-President Drivers Union SMG SGR joined the party. Mr Wani always worked for the poor and needy and always remained in forfront to highlight the sufferings of the public in the area. Speaking on the occasion senior JKPC leader Abid Ansari said that safeguarding the interests of the people, especially the youth of J&K is the biggest leadership challenge in the current times, and our party is committed to the upliftment of this class on priority. 
   
While welcoming Showkat wani into the party fold senior leader Khurshid Alam said the people of J&K need a sympathetic and honest government that puts the needs of the people first, above its own partisan interests and for this leaders like Wani can lead the society to come out of the present morass.

Speaking to the gathering Senior Leader and Ex MLA Gulmarg Mohd Abass Wani said that Peoples Conference has a history of sacrifices on record to claim a chance to lead people to peace and come out from the entangling imbroglio. The party has the required cadre who have gone through thick and thin and as such the party can be trusted to be strengthened as a much-needed cushion," he added.

Others who were present on this occasion include Youth JKPC General Secretary (Org) Mudasir Karim, YJKPC Secretary Budgam Wahid Khan and Senior PC leader Mr Nazirudin Baba.(KNS)
