‘Men in uniform have spread a reign of terror’

Srinagar, Oct 16 (KNS): Jammu Kashmir National Front (JKNF) today expressed deep concern over harassing of pro-freedom leaders and their kith and kin by police men in civil clothing by keeping a close vigil on them.
In a statement issued to KNS, spokesman of JKNF said that such cheap acts cannot deter pro-freedom leaders like Nayeem Ahmad Khan from their political stance. “Men in uniform have spread a reign of terror in nook and corner of Kashmir by arresting youths, peace loving people and those who want an end to the Indian illogical occupation,” the spokesman said.
He added that thousands of residential houses have been damaged in the process of harassing Kashmiri people. “Now a new tactic has been taken in hand, policemen keep on wondering around the houses of pro-freedom leaders and even a close vigil is being kept on their children and other close relatives,” he said.
He strongly condemned the raiding of residential houses by the men in uniform round the clock and harassing even the women folk.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelSuch acts are a direct attack on the privacy of people which is not tolerable, he said.
