Srinagar, Apr 09 (KNS): Expressing concern over yet another house detention of Jammu Kashmir National Front chairman, and Hurriyat leader Nayeem Ahmad Khan party spokesman today said that by putting curbs on Nayeem Ahmad Khan India can achieve nothing because detentions never weaken the resolve of leaders like Nayeem Ahmad Khan.
National Front central office bearers held a meeting today and expressed anguish over the house detention of Nayeem Ahmad Khan who is being made a prisoner at his residence time and again without citing any reason. The meeting also discussed the prevailing political situation.
The speakers while condemning the administration for its undemocratic acts said, “Nayeem Ahmad Khan has been placed under house arrest without citing any reasons.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel” They termed Nayeem Ahmad Khan’s detention as illegal and said that such kind of state terrorism has no place in the present civilised world.
The meeting also condemned the detention of other pro-freedom leaders, activists and common youth.
Stressing upon immediate release of its chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan from house detention they said by arresting the pro-freedom leadership including Nayeem Ahmad Khan every now and then India wants to kill the Kashmir dispute. However they said that such oppressive measure are sure to fail against the steadfastness of leaders like Nayeem Ahmad Khan. (KNS)
