Malik expresses condolences on demise of father of Jamiat Ahlihadees general secretary Dr. Abdul Lateef Al-kindi

Srinagar, Feb 26 (KNS): Ailing chairman of Jammu Kashmir liberation front Muhammad Yasin Malik has condemned the prolonged detention of veteran educationist and social leader professor SAR Geelani and other students of JNU who have been arrested and charged with sedition in Delhi.
Yasin Malik said that today Indian ex-ministers and parliamentarians are raising questions about the trial that was given to martyr Afzal Guru and are saying that his case was not correctly decided but when Kashmiris and some others whose conscience is alive raise same questions they are being slapped with sedition charges and put behind bars and a vicious media trail is also launched against them.
He said that ban on freedom of expression and thoughts can only be termed as worst kind of dictatorship and Indian rulers are practicing same under the garb of democracy. While condemning the oppressive behavior of Indian authorities, JKLF chairman reiterated his call for complete shutdown on Saturday 27th February 2016, against these arrest and oppression.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He appealed people of Kashmir to observe a complete shutdown and express solidarity with SAR Geelani and others.
Chairman JKLF also expressed his heart felt grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Jenab Abdul Rashid Alkindi of Pogal Banihal who lost his life in an accident on 25th February 2016. The deceased was father of Dr Abdul Lateef Al-kindi, secretary general of Jamiat Ahlihadees.
While paying homage to the deceased, Yasin Malik prayed for his heavenly abode. Yasin Sahib called Dr Al-kindi on phone and expressed condolence to him.
Meanwhile police has arrested JKLF district president Islamabad Mohammad Ishaq Ganaei in a raid on his residence today.
JKLF while condemning this arrested said that intimidating and arresting peaceful political activates has become order of the day and this is highly condemnable. (KNS)
