Srinagar, Mar 7 (KNS): A congregational meeting was today held in Sopore in remembrance of shaheed Farooq Ahmad dhobi in which JKLF central zonal and district level leaders and activists along with people from many walks of life participated. JKLF vice chairman Master Sheikh Muhammad Afzal while paying rich tributes to Shaheed Farooq Ahmad Dhobi said that Shaheed Farooq Ahmad was a true warrior, on ideologically strong parson and a wise young man who laid down his life for the freedom of his nation. Afzal Sahib said that a freedom movement nourished by the sacred blood of martyrs like Farooq Ahmad Dhobi cannot be defeated by any power because these peoples movement are always helped by Allah. Meanwhile JKLF has paid rich tributes to martyr Shaheed Davood Ahmad Sheikh who embraced martyrdom at Bichroo Kulgam yesterday. A JKLF spokesperson said that these young boys are laying down their lives for the freedom of Jammu Kashmir and we salute their passion and sacrifices. He said that due to pro-violent and dictatorial approach of Indian state and choking down of every little space on peaceful political struggle; these young Kashmiris are being pushed to the wall and left with no other way but to sacrifice their lives. While praying for his heavenly abode, Spokesman expressed solidarity with the bereaved family of innocent martyr. (KNS)
