Enquires about health of those injured yesterday in Pulwama

Srinagar, Mar 10 (KNS): JKLF Zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal along with senior leader Zahoor Ahmad Butt today visited SMHS hospital and enquired about the health of dozens of injured who were brutalized by Indian forces and police yesterday at Pulwama.
Both leaders met with the injured and their families and prayed for their early recovery. While condemning the brutal onslaught by Indian forces in which four Kashmiris embraced martyrdom and dozens got injured by pellets and bullets, JKLF leaders said that this state sponsored terrorism can never deter Kashmiris from perusing their birth right of freedom and despite all these miseries and hardships ,freedom movement of Jammu Kashmir will continue.
JKLF zonal president also strongly condemned the worst condition of inmates languishing in various jails and police stations and said that the plight of prisoners is extremely deplorable and rulers with the help of their police and other forces are employing every tactic to prolong their incarceration.
He said that a young boy Zubair Ahmad Turray of Shupian is languishing in jails from last four years and similarly JKLF senior activist Molvi Reyaz of Pattan is being terrorized by police from last six months.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
JKLF leader said that PSA of both these inmates expired recently but police re-arrested them and is terrorizing them in police stations. He said that inmate Zubair Ahmad Turray has so far been slapped PSA six times and recently he was re-arrested by police and is languishing in Keigam police station.
Similarly PSA of Molvi Reyaz also expired recently and instead of releasing him, police station Kreeri re-arrested him, oppressed him in police lock-up for many days and shifted him back to district jail Baramulla.
Meanwhile JKLF has expressed its heartfelt grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Aafaq Ahmad Malik s/o Muhammad Ayoub Malik of Hanji Danter Islamabad who was a close relative of JKLF martyr Muhammad Maqbool Malik.
JKLF vice chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt along with district president Muhammad Ishaaq Ganaie visited the bereaved family and expressed solidarity with them. While paying tributes to the deceased, JKLF leaders prayed for his heavenly abode. (KNS)
