Distributes relief among needy people

Srinagar, Jul 12 (KNS): Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik who is in police custody from last five days Tuesday asked JKLF activists, leaders, sympathizers and other people to enhance their efforts and provide help and relief to the victims of ‘state sponsored violence’ that has till now taken lives of about 35 people and injured more than 1500 across the valley.
In a statement issued to KNS, Malik said that police and forces have taken away the lives of more than 35 people till now whereas more than 1500 are injured, many of them seriously.
Malik said that there are dozens of young boys whose eye sight has been snatched by pellet guns and many have lost their vital organs by brutal police and forces actions.
JKLF chairman said that so-called rulers and their masters seem to be concerned about the situation not about those killed and injured brutally by their trigger happy forces.
He said that today another young boy from Bijbehara lost his life. “The ambulance in which he was being carried to Srinagar hospital yesterday was stopped by police and forces because of which this injured could not reach to hospital in time and thus lost his life,” he said.
Malik said that this phenomenon of stopping ambulances, arresting injured and their attendants and in many cases torturing them has become routine of police and forces that seem to have been assigned the job of terrorizing Kashmiris at any cost.
He said that ironically PDP leaders, their masters in Delhi, their police and forces are shedding tears that they are being forced to fire on protesters as protesters are attacking their camps and snatching weapon and that SOP is being followed while dealing with the mobs.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“We want to ask these shameless people that if they are saying truth why have majority of those killed and injured received bullets or pellets in their heads and chests. Isn’t this enough evidence of firing to kill,” asked Malik.
While condemning the spree of arrests in Tral area, JKLF chief said that hundreds of youth from Tral, Pulwama and other areas have been arrested by police and nobody knows where they have been kept after arrest. “This is ugliest phase of oppression that PDP/BJP rulers are unleashing during their rule in Jammu Kashmir,” hre said.
Expressing satisfaction over the atmosphere of brotherhood that has engulfed Kashmir, Yasin Malik said that during the times of need, Kashmiris have always showed exemplary brotherhood, fellow feeling and passion of charity but we all also need to show utmost discipline during these times and continue with our good efforts with zeal and passion. He said that today our brothers and sisters in Jammu region especially Ramban, Banihal, Doda, Kishtwar, Baderwah, Rajouri and Poonch are showing their sympathies with Kashmiri brethren and police has unleashed a reign of terror in these areas too which is highly condemnable.
Meanwhile delegations of JKLF led by vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi and zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal today visited SMHS and Soura medical institute hospitals and met with the injured persons and their families.
Leaders consoled these people and prayed for their early recovery. Besides this various JKLF activists today visited various hospitals and distributed essential food items, clothes, medicine and monetary assistance among the needy people. Many activists also donated their blood for the victims. (KNS)
