Expresses concern over deteriorating health of G M Hubbi

Srinagar, Oct 17 (KNS): Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) on Monday strongly condemned the ongoing spree of arrests and booking political activists under black law PSA.
While condemning the arrest of JKLF activists Sahib Khan of Trehgam and Ghulam Mohi Ud Din of Kunanposhpora and booking them under PSA, JKLF in a statement issued to KNS said, “Police and forces raided the houses of JKLF Deputy Chief Organizer Mir Siraj-Ud-Din at Tangmarg, Khizar Muhammad and Altaf Ahmad Gujri at Sopore and terrorized their families.”
The spokesman also condemned the prolonged incarceration of JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, JKLF vice chairmen advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt, Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal, zonal senior vice president Muhammad Yasin Butt, zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, District president Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad Rather (Boya) , JKLF activists Fayaz Ahmad Mir of Ganderbal , Shabir Ahmad Ganaie of Kakapora Pulwama, Mushtaq Ahmad Mir of Kupwara, Assadullah Sheikh of Kulgam, Muhammad Ishaaq Malik Kokernagh and thousands of innocents, youth and students who are languishing in jails and police stations.
JKLF said that the spree of arrests, nocturnal raids and terrorizing peaceful political activists, leaders and their families is most undemocratic and act of unilateral violence putting thousands of people behind bars and widespread use of black laws to suppress people’s voices has exposed the hollowness of the tall claims of democracy and battle of ideas, said JKLF.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
While expressing serious concern over the deteriorating health of Hurriyat leader, Dr Ghulam Muhammad Hubbi who is languishing in Kotbalwal jail under black law PSA and is ill from last many days, JKLF said that from 12 year old kids to 85 year elderly peaceful resistance leaders and activists are being caged down under black laws like PSA and that too on the pretext of so-called peace and democracy. “This is height of oppression and people who are committing these inhuman activities have no right to call themselves as democrats,” said JKLF.
Meanwhile the mother of JKLF office bearer in Kulgam Gulzar Ahmad Malik of Frisal left for heavenly abode.
JKLF district president Kulgam Abdul Sattar and others visited the bereaved family and expressed heartfelt condolences to them.
JKLF is bereaved on the sad demise of this mother and prays to Allah Almighty for her heavenly abode. (KNS)
