Srinagar, July 26 (KNS): Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) has strongly condemned the continuous detention of chairman Jammu Kashmir liberation front Muhammad Yasin Malik who was arrested by police on 8th July 2016 and has been languishing at police station Kothibagh from last 18 days and termed it as most undemocratic and uncivilized behavior of the so-called rulers.
Yasin Malik who is suffering from heart ailment and was admitted in hospital for his ailments recently and because of his chronic ailments needs regular medical checkups has not been taken to any hospital or doctor from last 18 days and he has also been not presented before any magistrate or court from the day of his arrest.
According to a statement issued to KNS, the height of the ill treatment meted out to him is that when JKLF leaders Muhammad Yasin Butt and Zahoor Ahmd Butt visited him at police station Kothibagh, both of them were arrested and are languishing with him at the same police station from then.
The family of Yasin Malik is also facing a lot of problems while reaching to him with necessary medicines or other things and he has been totally cut off from rest of the world from last many days.
While condemning this callous and undemocratic attitude of so-called rulers and police authorities, a JKLF spokesman has termed this as worst kind of state sponsored violence against a known political leader and said that when a known political leader can be subjected to this kind of cruel attitude by the so-called rulers, what can be expected for the common people.
Spokesman said that jails and incarcerations are not new for JKLF chief Muhammad Yasin Malik but the way he is being treated in custody is highly condemnable and a glaring example of the undemocratic and uncivilized approach of the so-called rulers.
Meanwhile jailed JKLF chief in a message sent out from incarceration has strongly condemned the ongoing oppression against people of Jammu Kashmir and said that from Kishtwar to Poonch and from Uri to Islamabad Kashmir ,people are united and resisting the oppression of India and its stooges with firmness and passion.
While condemning the ban and restrictions against Islamabad and Kulgam Chalo calls and arresting ailing leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Mirwaiz Muhammad Umer Farooq,Yasin Malik said that it is not the protesting people who initiate violence but it is the rulers who use their police and killer forces to ban peaceful programs and protests.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that history bears a witness to the fact that whenever resistance leadership called for a public program and people were allowed to gather and hold these public programs no violence occurred. it is the rulers and their authorities who by imposing ban on political gatherings and by using military might to suppress peaceful programs actually initiate and promote violence and push people to the wall, added Incarcerated Yasin Malik.
He said that struggle for freedom needs discipline, unity and firmness. He appealed youth who are on the forefront of protests to keep vigil and donor harm doctors, medical staff and their ambulances and vehicles and also try to help and save common people.
He said that by Allah’s grace the people of Jammu Kashmir have yet again demonstrated their resilience and passion for freedom and this is yet again proved that no matter how cruel and hard be Indian oppression, no matter how bias is their media, no matter how muscular is the hypocritical politics of India and its Kashmiri stooges, People of Kashmir have not and will never shun their love for freedom and affection for their martyrs.
Yasin Malik said that India and its Kashmiri stooges are trying hard to break peoples will by hook and crook and government officers are being used to scare government employees, traders, transporters and other people, so that peace of graveyard is established in Kashmir. He said that so-called PDP led government is so callous and its ministers are so insensitive that after killing more than 55 innocents ,injuring more than 5000 and taking the eye sight of hundreds these power hungry politicians are trying to portray that nothing has happened and all is well.
He said that the hypocritical politics of these power hungry stooges stands exposed before the people and these people should know that their hypocritical politics, intimidations, and other gimmicks cannot succeed in breaking the peoples will and according to the law of nature they will have to answer for their anti-people acts and crimes against humanity.
