Srinagar, Sep 28 (KNS): Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has strongly condemned the ongoing spree of arrests and other oppressive measures by police and other Indian forces throughout Jammu Kashmir.
While condemning the arrest of JKLF district president Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad Rather (Boya) who has been arrested by police last night and is languishing in Ganderbal police station and also the arrest of Mushtaq Ahmad Mir district organizer Kupwara who immediately after arrest has been slapped with PSA and shifted to Kotbalwal jail, JKLF said that the way rulers and their authorities are arresting people and slapping black Laws like PSA on them is a glaring example of Jammu Kashmir being a police state ruled by black laws and oppression.
While condemning the continuous incarceration of JKLF ailing chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik who has been kept in worst solitary confinement at Humhama, JKLF zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal and JKLF activists Fayaz Ahmad Mir from Ganderbal and Shabir Ahmad Ganaie of Kakapora Pulwama who after slapping PSA have been shifted to Jammu, JKLF vice chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt who along with zonal vice president Muhammad Yasin Butt and senior member Muhammad Amin Magloo who have been now shifted to Rajbagh police station from SOG camp Air-Cargo and vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi who is languishing in police station Humhama and many others, JKLF has said that thousands of young and old people, students and innocent boys and children have been arrested so far and many have been shifted to different outside jails under PSA as so-called rulers continue their efforts to impose peace and silence of a graveyard in Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
While condemning the continuous curfew and oppression in Kishtwar and other areas of Pirpanjal and Chenab valleys, JKLF said that spree of arrests and nocturnal raids has also reached these areas and Muslims of these areas are being pushed to the wall at the behest of RSS and other chauvinist forces which is highly condemnable.
