Malik to visit Islamabad tomorrow, Will speak to public gathering there

Srinagar, June 16 (KNS): Chairman Jammu Kashmir liberation (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik along with a JKLF delegation visited Bemina Srinagar where he met the bereaved family of martyr Tanveer Sultan sheikh who was martyred in a mysterious encounter at Kud recently.
On the occasion Yasin Malik said that Kashmir is the land where thousands have been brutally killed in fake encounters and in custody and recent killing of Shaheed Tanveer has also raised many questions. He said that the relatives of this innocent youth are crying that he was going for treatment and has been killed in custody by forces. Yasin Malik said that circumstances in which this young man was martyred are seriously doubtful. He said that to ascertain truth an international probe should be held in this connection.
Yasin Malik while paying rich tributes to Sheikh Tanveer said that this family has already sacrificed one son during the present freedom struggle and now have given their second one also for the cause. He prayed for the heavenly abode of both martyrs.

Also JKLF has paid rich tributes to its martyr Syed Ziya ud din Jeelani on his martyrdom day today.
JKLF zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal while recalling his services for the freedom movement said that his struggle and sacrifices can never be forgotten. It is worth to mention that martyr was the father of JKLF district president Syed Nisar jeelani.
JKLF leaders who were taken into custody by police recently still remain in police custody.
JKLF vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi remains in central jail Srinagar while as district president Islamabad Muhammad Ishaaq Ganie has been sent to district jail Islamabad. Deputy Chief Organizer Siraj ud din Mir and district president Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad Boya also remains in police custody. JKLF condemns these arrests and incarcerations. (KNS)
