Srinagar, Oct 10 (KNS): In order to get their demands fulfilled, Employees of Provident Fund Organization observed pen down strike across the state for the consecutive third day on Saturday.
According to a statement issued to KNS, shouting slogans in favour of their demands, the protesting employees said that they have been working on their posts from last 25 years and nothing has been done in order to promote the deserving employees to next higher posts lying vacant since long.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“In case our genuine demands are not fulfilled till (Monday) 12 Oct 2015, we will be left with no option but to go on indefinite strike in both Divisions of the State,” Irshad Ahmad Shah, President, J&K Employees Provident Fund Organization Union stated.
Strike call given by J&K Employees Provident Fund Organization Union is supported by Labour Department Non-Gazetted Employees Union and other 25 Kashmir Societies. (KNS)
