Fresh batch of 43 aspiring entrepreneurs including 11 females passed out form JKEDI Kargil

Srinagar, Jan 15 (KNS): With Aim to providing an oppurtunity to the un-epmloyed youth to start their own empolyment generating bussiness ventures, Jammu and Kashmir Entreprenuership development institute (JKEDI) conducted Entreprenurship Development program(EDP) at Kargil under Self employment component of HIMAYAT which concluded today. In this connection today a fresh batch of 43 aspiring entrepreneurs including eleven females passed out form JKEDI Kargil after completing the three-weeks training programme under HIMAYAT.
The main objective of the Entrepreneurship Development Program was to help the participants, to imbibe the required entrepreneurial and managerial skills so that they become able to start and run their own business ventures successfully.
Kachoo Ahmed Ali Khan, Chief Executive Councilor, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development council (LAHDC) Kargil, was the Chief Guest at the Valedictory function. Haji Mohammad Shafi, political advisor to CEC, LAHDC Kargil Ladakh was the guest of honor of the occasion. Dy. Director Employment Kargil and District officers from different departments were also present on the occasion including huge audience.
District Nodal Officer JKEDI Kargil Ladakh, Yash Paul in his welcome address highlighted the various schemes being implemented by JKEDI for the welfare of youths.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe emphasis on the need of entrepreneurship and skill development in the state and inspired the participants to become entrepreneurs and create jobs rather than seeking. On the occasion enthusiastic budding entrepreneurs also shared their views regarding the three weeks long fruitful training provided by JKEDI.
Kachoo Ahmed Ali Khan, Chief Guest, in his speech lauded JKEDI Kargil for organizing such Programs and providing platform to the un-employed youths of Ladakh. He wished the participants for their successful future. He further added that various opportunities and resources are still to explore in Kargil. He emphasized the candidate to go for these opportunities including agriculture sector, Pashmina processing, fish farming, stone (Granite) work and many more. Guest of honor, political advisor to CEC, Haji Mohmmad Shafi in his address also encourages and wished the participants for their success.
The function was concluded with vote of Thanks by Yash Paul, DNO JKEDI Kargil. (KNS)
