JKDKPF demands construction of New Quarters for Kashmiri Migrants living on rents

Jammu March 05: A large numbe by Kashmiri Dispalced migrants are still living on rents in non camps in Jammu, Udhampur and other parts of country  on a meager monthly cash assistance which is quite insufficient to maintain their families and eke out their livelihood as they have also to bear the brunt of monthly rents which has made their lives pathetic and miserable due to non availability of sound financial back up in exodus. 
 
In a meeting  chaired by Vinod Pandita President of Jammu and Kashmir Dispalced Kashmiri Pandit front has expressed grave concern over the plight of non camp migrants,  living on rents due to non availibility of prosper government  accommodation in forceful exile.  
 
He also expressed anguish in the meeting  over the miserable condition of the  displaced Kashmiri Migrants putting up temporarily in one room tenament in Purkhoo camp Jammu in a dilapidated conditions and prayed that  Government can repair and renovate these quarters for the immediate redressal of their long pending demand.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
 
 Pandita has appealed Governent or India and UT Government of Jammu and Kashmir to immediately construct at least ten thousand new quarters in order to accomodate all such families who are living on rents and in Temporarily one tenament Purkhoo till the honorable  return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits back in valley is given a practical shape.
 
Vishal Jotshi Vice President , Jyoti Dhar, Ashok Kumar Koul,   Vinod Bhat  and others also appealed Governent of India to enhance the meager monthly cash assistance from rupees 13000 to rupees 25000/  as well announce a new employment package for educated Dispalced  unemployed youth forthwith to tacke unemployment problem in the community.(KNS)
