Srinagar, Feb 05 (KNS): Thanking Pakistan for observing Kashmir Solidarity Day, and reiterating its full support to the oppressed Kashmiris, Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) today said that Pakistan is the only country which supports Kashmiri people unconditionally.
In a statement issued to KNS, JKDFP said that party’s incarcerated chief Shabir Ahmad Shah has always appreciated the support of Pakistan towards the freedom struggle of Kashmiri people at diplomatic, political and moral fronts.
For the past seven decades, despite difficult and testing times for the country itself, Pakistan is continuously trying its best to advocate the case of oppressed Kashmiris on international forums.
The JKDFP thanked the Government of Pakistan and people who have always extended all possible support to the political movement of Jammu Kashmir and for the resolution of Kashmir dispute.
The JKDFP said that not only the political rights but religious rights of the people of Kashmir are being curtailed by the use of naked force by Indian forces and their collaborators since last seven decades.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
In such a situation, Pakistan is the only worldly support for Kashmiri people which raises the human rights issues at relevant quarters and tries to convince the international community to address the Kashmir dispute which has become a nuclear flashpoint and has endangered the peace and stability of the south Asian region.
Reiterating the political stance of its ailing and jailed chief, Shabir Shah, the JKDFP said that unless Kashmir dispute is addressed in its historical perspective the ongoing bloodshed will continue. The Kashmiri people are not only attacked and targeted in their homeland but the Indian states only because they want the fulfillment of the promises made to them by India. Even Kashmiri prisoners are denied suitable medical aid in prisons. (KNS)
