Srinagar, Jul 26 (KNS): Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) today paid tributes to those martyred in Anantnag and expressed solidarity with those whose residential houses were damaged by Indian forces in the garb of a gunfight.
According to the statement issued to KNS, a JKDFP delegation led by Advocate Fayaz Ahmad Sodagar went to Mehman Mohalla to express sympathy with Nazir Ahmad Khan whose house was damaged.
Fayaz Sodagar while praising the pro-freedom sentiment of Mehman Mohalla people and said that incarcerated JKDFP chief Shabir Shah had started anti-liquor campaign from the same Mohalla and the locals had made the campaign a success.
He said that by jailing leaders, damaging properties of people and caging them every now and then cannot deter people of Kashmir from raising their voice in favour of their political rights.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe expressed solidarity with Nazir Ahmad Khan, Nisar Ahmad Khan and other members of Khan Dynasty.
Fayaz Sodagar paid rich tributes to Shaheed Binyan Yousuf Dar alias Bilal Molvi, a resident of Khodwani and Abid Hussain Bhat, son of Wali Mohammad Bhat, a resident of Suzan village in Doda, who achieved martyrdom in Mehman Mohalla gunfight.
The same JKDFP delegation also went to Chini Chowk to condole the passing away of mother of Javed Ahmad Sodagar. The mother of Javed Sodagar passed away yesterday. The delegation met and condoled the brother of Javed Sodagar who himself is living a migrant life since years together. The delegation prayed for the deceased soul. (KNS)
