JKCSF urges the govt to make arrangements to keep Mughal road permanently open

Srinagar,01 June (KNS): Notwithstanding the trouble faced by patients and students and employees Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum urged the Govt to ensure the opening of alternative links to Kashmir, Mughal Road, throughout the year.

In a statement issued to Kashmir news service (KNS), Chairman JKCSF Abdul Qayoom Wani said that the people of Rajouri and Poonch especially patients and students and back to valley the employees and other business-class working in Rajouri and poonch are suffering most with the repeated closing of an important highway that links these two districts with the rest of Kashmir valley as the shortest route.

Wani said that the students and employees have to travel over 200 km from Poonch to reach Jammu and then they travel in addition to reach Kashmir which becomes a journey of nearly 500 kms which accounts in economic loss and mental and physicals exhaustion.
