Qayoom wani appealed religious preachers to make people understand the importance of unity and self help

 Srinagar May 01:(KNS), Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum Chairman, Abdul Qayoom Wani has extended greetings to people of Jammu and Kashmir and entire Muslim World on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitter.

 
In a statement, Wani said the festival teaches virtues of devotion, faith and virtuousness and inspires feelings of brotherhood, compassion and unity.
 
Wani said while observing fast in the the holy month of Ramzan people have attained religious solitude and satisfaction by doing extra worships towards the duties and have had an inner belief to get divine fruits of their deeds indeed.
 
On the eve of Eid Wani has appealed people of J&K to remember all those families who are living a destitute and desperate life on account of different reasons.
 
Wani appealed people not to forget widows, orphans and those people who were in dire need of help. He appealed people to help them to their level best on this Eid.
 
Wani also appealed religious preachers to make people understand the importance of unity and self help.
 
He urged upon the government to release all political and apolitical detainees and youths on humanitarian grounds to allow them celebrate this Eid with their families.
Wani termed three year long house detention of 
Mirwaiz-E-Kashmir Dr Molvi Mohammad Umer Farooq illogical and illegal and demanded his release before Eid ul Fiter.
Wani showed serious resentment on closer of Jamia masjid on Shab-e-Qadir and on Jumu'atul-Wida 
 
Wani appealed Transport authorities, Hospital administration, Welfare orgs and NGOs to strategise their plans in advance to extend the help to the patients, poor, orphans and others accordingly. (KNS)
