JKCSF demands regularization of Chare-i-Sharief transport stand in Haftchinar

 
Srinagar September 15 (KNS):   Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum has demanded the registration of Chrare-i-Sharief Transport stand at its own place at  Malatia/Cargo Haftchinar Srinagar.
 
In a statement issued here on Thursday Chairmain Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum Abdul Qayoom Wani, the Forum has endorsed the demands of Transport unions comprising sumo and Taxi owners of the stand that the erstwhile transport stand is an old transport stand significant for pilgrimage to the high calibre saint of Jammu and Kashmir, Hazrate Sheikh Noor Ud Din Wali(RA), Sheikh Ul Alam,  and pilgrims from nook and corner of jammu and kashmir who travel by public transport  first reach only  to Malatia/CargoHaftchinar  transport stand from years and are habitual to this route.
 
Wani said shifting  Malatia/Cargo transport  stand to elswhere would only cause trouble to the pilgrims who mainly comprise often patients and devotees who want to visit the shrine of Hazrate Shaiekh(RA) at Chrare Sharief and also to routine commuters and to the inhabitants of that area.
 
Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum endorsed the demands of transporters to register and relegate the transport stand only at its own place that is Malatia/Cargo in Haftchinar Srinagar.]
 
The Society has expected vehemently from SSP Trafic that in the larger interst of public the demand will be considered. chairman JKCSF appealed  Divisional   commissioner for his personal intervention in resolving this issue   Wani while meeting with the  transport representatives and civil society forum members from charishrief budgam assured the delegation for full support from JKCSF for their justified demand in the larger public interest.(KNS)
