JKCSF demands postings of local officers on key positions in administration to ensure localisation:Qayoom wani

srinagar 05 February (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum (JKCSF) is up in arms against the deprivation of reach of a common man to  the top administarion to get their issues  grievances settled.

In a statement issued to KNS, Chairman [JKCSF] Abdul Qayoom Wani said that  in civil and police the top local officers who have earlier served at key positions as DCs,  DGs and SSPs have now been cocooned to less important affairs.

While as on key administrative posts non-local officers have been preffered which has added to the sufferings  and miseries of  the local populace on account of understanding  the language while representing their plea .
"We have sufficient  number of local IAS ,IPS ,KAS,KPS and other  senior officers with sense of localisation  to deliver as per the needs and expectations of common people  particularly in the absence of  a local govt" Wani said

Wani said that a large number of IAS,IPS,KAS KPS and many more senior officers who have proved  their  worth during their service carrier have been dumped   in Civil Secretarate  and out-side secretrate  despite their Seniority, reputed  PR and proved administrative capabilities.
It would have been in the public interest if these local officers would have  been given pivotal positions from Secretariate and outside at Divisional and district key positions,  so that public  could  have a relief  by virtue of language and localisation domain.

In the present scenario while raising issues and representing their grievances public faces array of difficulties  which they are presently facing while meeting the officers who don't belong to  Jammu and Kashmir, instead are  are non Kashmiris from other states.(KNS)
