JKCSF calls imp meeting to discuss growing illicit drugs, immorality

Srinagar, August 12 (KNS):  Jammu and Kashmir  Civil Society Forum has called for a important meeting to discuss practical measures to curb drug addiction, counterfeit drugs.

In a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), an important meeting has been called on August 18 at the forum's central office, Gogji Bagh, Srinagar.  

Chairman Civil Society Forum  Abdul Qayyum Wani will preside the session.  All the officials have been asked to ensure their attendance at this important meeting to discuss practical measures to curb drug addiction, counterfeit drugs and rampant debauchery in the society, statement reads.  

It has been said in the statement that religious scholars, thinkers and imams of mosques, traders and representatives teachers  , students' associations will be taken on board while practical fight against Drug addiction,social evils , spurious drugs.present situation in society is wake up call for all of us otherwise it will be too late, it added.(KNS)
