‘First phase training conducted at DC office Bandipore

Srinagar, June 20 (KNS): The Jammu & Kashmir Association of Social Works an NGO started a two-phased training programme to equip the youth in north Kashmir’s Bandipore district to handle disasters.
The first phase of the training was conducted at Deputy Commissioner Bandipore office complex on “First Aid” and over 60 youths from vulnerable areas of the district attended the training programme. The Master trainer of the programme Dr. Ittinder Singh Bali, trained the participants on how they can handle any emergency situation to minimize the loss.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The participants appreciated the efforts of JKASW for holding such training programme which was first of its kind in the district since 2014 devastating floods.
Chief Medical Officer, Bandipore Dr Bilquees Mir also appreciated the NGO for the training programme.
The next phase of training would be held on “Relief, search and Rescue operation” on June 21. (KNS)
